Long thin spoons formerly a Lloyd’s I believe, its central location on the Old Market Square, means you can enjoy the chimes of the town hall clock and the trams rumbling by as you sup. Tall stools and tables near the front door, counter and machines in the middle and low chairs and tables, some on a raised area, at the rear. Two banks of five with a bank of four in the middle however just the unholy trinity plus Hobgoblin to delight your taste buds. Didn’t explore upstairs due to plague.

A bland Wethers that's on 2 levels. The interior is a nondescript room though there are 14 handpumps on the bar. A fairly decent variety of beers ups the points total a bit. Apparently there is an upstairs bar too but I never ventured up there.

The most centrally located of the Nottingham weatherpersons and by far the worst of the bunch. This is not helped by being frequented by its fair share of down and outs. this said it is noticeably more expensive than most of the other spoons with their standard cheap ale price being £2.30. there are fourteen hand pulls available with more upstairs on the bar but these are copies of whats on offer downstairs. beer include offerings from locals such as Nottingham, Dukeries and Magpie I had a pint of Nottingham Rock bitter at £2.30 and this was a crap pint, very badly condition, stone cold and cloudy, and one I know to be a very nice beer when kept right.
The decor is also some of the worst/plainest i have seen in a spoons and the layout means the main drinking area downstairs is a windowless square room that is very much like a school canteen, no atmosphere whatsoever. Truly a terrible example of a wetherspoons. there is literally no reason to visit here when the far superior roebuck is less than a three minute walk away.
