The Draper’s Arms is a long and thin Wetherspoons with high tables and beer shelves with stools around thick pillars at the front of the pub. Booth seating runs down the left wall opposite the bar that runs down the right and at the rear is open plan seating. A couple of televisions were showing muted World Cup football build up, expect rolling news any other time. The bar supports standard and premium keg as well as 12 hand pumps that were drawing Titanic’s Plum Porter, Bateman’s Rosey Nosey, Greene King Fireside, Nethergate’s Growler, Frome Brewing’s Gulp IPA, Grainstore’s Ten Fifty and Brewster’s Hophead plus the usual mainstream suspects. I found the service to be efficient and thought this to easily be the better of the two Spoons in town.

A long, narrow Spoons with lots of dark woodwork and a nice buzz of conversation. Six guest ales on, including 3 Christmas brews. It felt generally better run and had more character than many - I quite liked this one.

Long thin spoons with a snaking counter. A bit dark and crammed like many spoons conversions although better quality all round than the College Arms. It is probably the more popular of the two in Peterborough with good reason, and is GBG 2019 listed.
