The small bar has many photos of what I assume to be customers past and present. When we called in last Sunday there were more people outside than in, a fairly large party of ramblers having stopped for a refreshment break. The two tables in front of the bar both had reserved signs on, which I thought was a little odd, so there was nowhere apart from the dining room or the outside benches for drinkers.

There used to be a campsite in the walled garden at the back, but the present landlady gave it up because of the extra cleaning of the toilets that this entailed. There are a couple of benches on the edge of the car park, where we made ourselves comfortable. The beers are from the Marstons stable, Pedigree and Burton, plus a seasonal from Wychwood, Cherry Picker.

This was a decent looking stone built pub, there were plenty of people sitting outside on the seating proveded.
Once inside the pub was fairly nice and there were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Jennings Cumberland the other beers were Pedigree and Brakspear Oxford Gold.
