I never thought we would ever consider staying at a Holiday Inn. But on this ocassion we ran out of options. The room was fine, the food was good, especially the breakfast, and the Bar area was pleasant too, with a nice atmosphere and lots of people enjoying the football on the widescreen TV. I just wonder why they go to all this effort and then fall over when it comes to the Ale on offer. Worthingtons Creamflow and Caffrey's keg bitter. Both served at temperatures you would expect a Bavarian lager to be served. When the Creamflow ran out (after one pint each) we tried the ice cold Guinness which seemed to be at room temperature.
