Another rather dull looking detached Pubco brick compound, next to a Premier Inn, with a bit of a patio
The interior is open plan, with a sofa/comfy seat area and a dining area (Tabletable menu). The walls are the red and yellow plain look, with arty pictures, lamp shadey things, vases, chopped logs; in essence everything i hate. There was a silent Sky Sports TV with moronic subtitling and soft background music. The service was the high point; it was friendly. The clientele were mixed and quite few to be honest. This place really is soulless to someone like me.
Beer; tap stuff, with a decent enough Banks's Bitter on handpull, but alas no MILD. Oh and there was SN's Spitfire, which i also do not like.
In sort, there wasn't anything that would attract me back. Service apart, it is the opposite to my personal tastes.
