Sleezy glam evening only steakhouse & bar. Lots of space for standing, there are also some high stools and propping benches, lots of chrome & padded up furniture and the like

This is a bar, late lounge and grill housed in a few 'units' of an early 20th century red brick building. Indeed, the corner unit was a pub, once. There is a patio area at the front. The interior has several areas; the grill part, a 'late lounge' and the bar, where I went. The décor is brick and black, with red neon lights illuminating the gloom and the strangest chandeliers - which looked like they were from The Wicker Man. There are a few levels, and a lift to take you somewhere! A few silent TVs had the footy on and the music was relaxed and at a decent level. The service was friendly and there was not another soul in. Comfy chairs and high stools are the name of the game. Beer; no real ale of course - although I spied a bottle of Batham's in the fridge: usual keg stuff, with Estrella and a decent Peroni, amongst other continental lagers. A better experience that I imagined, but not really to my personal taste.
