On the north bank of the River Yar, between Great Yarmouth and Norwich. You can't get here by road so if you're lucky you can get a boat from Haven Bridge in Great Yarmouth or the (seemingly) once a day train to Berney Arms station. Boaters moor up outside and stop for a swift one. Walkers have to make their way across publiv footpaths from Reedham or Halvergate 3 1/2 miles away. We chose the latter and enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the stroll. The pub itself was OK, the novelty was in its remoteness. The walk into Great Yarmouth afterwards was a bit of a drag, though, I must admit.
