Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Mr George's Bar

Bateman's tap housed in the landmark disused windmill adjacent to the brewery. Bench seating with a few small tables around 2/3rds of the compact circular room, with many more wooden benches out in the beer garden. XB, XXXB, Yellabelly, Pilgrim Fathers and the seasonal Middle Wicket available from the five handpumps, and the two halves I sampled were naturally in first-class condition.

Soup Dragon left this review about Mill Bar

A Victorian undressed brick former mill tower, now part of the Bateman's Brewery. In the grounds there is a patio area, beer garden, kid's play area and of course, the brewery.

The interior is a single circular room, with a small bar area in the corner. The walls are a light green, with a dark green floor and a wooden ceiling. The walls are festooned with Batemans memorabilia; photos, certificates, old pumps, bottles and so forth. Therre is no TV and there was no background music. There is a gift shop next door for bottle purchase and down a few stairs there is a food area, for carveries and the like. We ate here and the food was fine. This area is in red brick, with a wood floor and a ceiling lost under beer memorabilia and there is a fine collection of bottled beers from all breweries going back to Noah & Sons 'Ark I Hear Water. The service was really friendly and the place was often busy, we visited once for the tour and three times for a drink!

Beer; Bateman's XB, XXB, Salem Porter, Summer Swallow and the lovely Bateman's MILD - i tried all and they were all well kept.

A really nice brewery experience, or simply just for a drink. I really enjoyed it here.
