This must have been impressive in its heyday.Large high ceilinged one room but slightly faded interior.Busy.4 handpumps with Breakspear -bitter,Pedigree and Hophead. Nice atmosphere inside and seating at the front.

The Cat and Mutton is a corner pub that is situated at what i would call the top end of Broadway market.
Once inside there is a single decent sized square shaped room with the bar facing, the room is bare boarded, there is a long bench seat down the left side with a long table,a few normal tables and chairs in the middle area, the right side had leather bench seating and some leather settees.
There was one real ale on the bar which was Robinsons Trooper, this drink was ok but slightly too warm for my liking.
The pub was empty when i arrived at about 11.40am,by the time i left just after 12 it was packed.
There is nothing special about this pub,but it is a proper pub.

Popped in here the other day for the first time. This pub is staggeringly popular on Saturday and Friday nights with Broadway Market hipsters spilling out on the pavement.
I went early on a weekday evening and thankfully the pub was nearly empty. Outside on the patio tables, winos drank from bottles. The interior's a bit stark with bare brick walls and large tables which aren't conducive to intimate drinking. The kitchen is open and oddly the bar is incredibly high. I'm 5' 11'' and the top of the bar was at about shoulder height; I don't like to see the contents of the nostrils of the person who's serving me. The lavatories are a disgrace - really nasty. In particular, the cubicle had a multitude of missing tiles and despite arriving early, there was a lump of masonry almost the size of my fist lying on its floor.
Given the state of the loos, I can't really see myself coming here again. It's also rather expensive.
