Decent real ale, decent people and a whole heap of sand. This place is at it's best out of season- but even in mid August tourist season fever is still worth a visit. If you want a busy place with laid back people and enjoy watching the surf with your pint, this is the pub for you

The bar/pub is actually on the beach, not sure what happens at a very high tide, probably get complaints of watered down beer! The front part is open early for food/tea/coffee and the rear part is the bar area. Started a no smoking ban in May. Sells real ale. Has an area for kids to play. There are tables on the beach, so you may get real sand in your sandwiches. Great view of the sunset.
