I only dropped into the Rose & Crown for a swift half of Bombardier, but I enjoyed my short stay.
In some pubs it can be a problem being served quickly, in here I can honestly say I was served faster than any other pub I've ever been to. The locals were also friendly and the barmaid was clearly impressed by my large camera.
There is a beer garden out the back and there are up to 4 real ales on at any time - 2 when I went in.
