Just off the high street near a market you could easily miss this pub. A small frontage opens to a staircase that takes you into the vaults below ground...funny that. There are two large rooms off of a central corridor and a bar 1n the one on the right. There are 3 real ales of reasonable quality and very inexpensive. Better to visit daytime for froth blowing as it can be a little hectic in the evening with students.
