Had visited here previously when it was a Yates pub and didn't think at the time pubs could get much worse than that, well they can and this is it.A large open plan garish bar, if you like thumping 80s and 90s music, in house DJs, shots and cocktails this is the place for you.Its not for me.

Previously Yates's and now run by Stonegate, this nightclub-style alcohol dispensary is utterly awful and represents the very worst of everything we hear about pubs and bars. A single large bar with an efficient counter service, it exists solely to put nasty booze into the bloodstream of bleary-eyed morons and shoddily clad (and indeed clumpily shod) ladettes deafened by the cacophonic din and blinded by the lighting effects, their tongues pointing accusingly at cameras or hanging limply down their badly made-up jowls. It only opens at weekends and there is no real ale. Coming here was a once-in-a-lifetime experience - I won't be doing it again.
