Alan Winfield left this review about Bole Bridge (JD Wetherspoon)

The Bole Bridge is a Spoons pub.
Once inside there is a long oblong shaped room with the bar on the front left side, there is a small raised area to the front left, the seating in the main room is normal tables and chairs.
There was a decent choice of real ales on the bar which was slightly spoilt by the american beers on the bar which are brewed in Britain,i will never drink these beers,i had a drink of John Willies 100 from Lees brewery which went down well at 9.20 in the morning.
This spoons seemed is quite smart and had a nice laid back atmosphere,i quite liked this one.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Bole Bridge (JD Wetherspoon)

Curious hybrid of a structure, with the western part being a traditional sort of market town building and a larger modern extension containing much of the seating. There aren't a lot of windows along the main facade, but as these are south facing it is still fairly bright indoors (except for the old bit). There is also a reasonably-sized patio area outside. Ten handpumps in total, and with just one 'available soon' there was a reasonable selection of real ale (including a splendid pint of RCH East Street at £1.90). Not too bad, but I thought the bar staff were distinctly disinterested.

One of the better Wetherspoon's housed in the town centre's old Working Men's Club. Clean and friendly with decent food and well kept beers including guest ales....not bad example at all for this chain

UPDATE: Now offers a 'beer garden' or rather a 'beer backyard'
