This historic building dates from the 1700s and is in a lovely setting in the Yorkshire Dales. It has a lovely garden and outdoor seating area. The building is no smoking.
There are 2 bars and a restaurant.
The Wyvill Arms is very much a gastro pub, with superb food, not too pricey, and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. On the day we visited they were putting things to rights after a flood from a burst pipe, but this didn't detract from the service or surroundings one bit.
Ales include Theakstons and Black Sheep. Childrens menu. Veg options. Wonderful fresh fish menu. Excellent service.
