Pleasant pub with tidily-restored old interior, but more-importantly a good and changing range of ales and ciders. The bar is the central feature, with the room to the left forming the restaurant area and a room off to the right forming a sort of snug.

A traditional red brick pub, basically one room but divided into four areas, one of which was set out for diners. There is a beer garden to the rear and some limited parking at the front, room for about six or seven cars. There are five pumps on the bar four of which were active on a Sunday evening, proper Job from St Austell, Longman American Pale Ale, something from Hopcraft Brewery and the fourth one now escapes me, there is also Real Cider available. There are a couple of beer festivals and one Cider festival a year and they also hold regular meet the brewer evenings, CAMRA discount is available. A nice little village pub this one.
