this used to be a very good pub, altho since the new management the bar has been done out but the service and standards have droped drematicly. hever had a problem with the food but i do know people who have, oh and you cant purchse a sweet unless u have had a main, never had a issue having just a fudge cake befor the new management.

I ate here with colleagues one lunchtime in June 08. Arrived at the dirty looking bar where the 3 staff seemed too busy gossipping to be bothered to serve us. My cajun chicken arrived sizzling on the hot plate and looking pretty good. A generous portion but the plate from the 80s was def a health hazard and the sauce was spitting everywhere. Ate a few chips to start - soggy and brown - bad start. Cut right throught the chicken breast to find it was purple and RAW through the thickest part. Waitress apologetic but bar staff couldn't give a hoot. Seemed surprised I wanted a refund!
Terrible service and disgusting food. Cheap and nasty, I'd suggest you avoid this dirty chain pub like the plague.

This is the best ever place for food, the steaks are second to none, the quantity and quality of all meals are exceptional.... BUT DO NOT ORDER COFFEE LIQUERS
