Visited this Vaux pub on a wet & miserable Saturday lunchtime. Lovely warm welcome in the pub.
Lovely big building. Separate bar and comfy lounge. Children are welcome in the lounge up to 9pm. There’s a beer garden & enclosed play area, but we didn’t investigate these in the bad weather.
Real ales on offer include Adnams and Black Sheep. Food is pub grub, but to a high standard, very well cooked & served, very reasonable prices. Children’s menu & specials board. Friendly staff.
Nice, clean, accessible loos. Disabled entrance to rear. Own car park to side.
