a family run pub with a good atmosphere and probably the best pint in the st ninians area of stirling.jim and linda who run the pub have always a warm welcome for anyone and the people who drink in the pub are a friendly bunch of characters.they also have a social club where the regulars go for days and nights out across the country.the anchor has just recently been refurbished and to begin with the regulars were a bit taken aback with the new look but soon realised it was the same place .jim and linda also do bar snacks during the day for anyone who is a bit peckish.and more importantly beer is tennents brand as well as your usual carling ,guinness etc.well worth a visit if you are in the area.
