When I checked out the Travellers Rest today, it was closed. No sign of life since shutters were closed. It was probably only a temporary closure.

Google says the Travellers Rest address is 13 Neilston Road, Neilston G78 3NT, NOT Kirkhill Crescent. Please amend it to the correct address. Had a pint of John Smith’s there plus crisps which came to £4.95. Also on was Tennents, Birra Moretti, Amstel, Heineken, Guinness and Strongbow dark fruit cider. Plus all the usual spirits and wines. It looked as if it was getting refurbished.

This is a mainly food orientated establishment, with a rather grand looking restaurant in the conservatory area at the front, looking onto the main road. There is also a small lounge bar, though, with a pool table, and you can just go in for a drink.
