Steve C left this review about Blane Valley

Blane Valley has an open plan rectangular interior with bar counter that supports standard keg on the right-hand wall. The carpeted left-hand side is full of seating and on the rear wall is a tiled fireplace with a flame effect heater. A couple of televisions were showing muted rolling Sky News and background music came from the jukebox. Karaoke is advertised for every Friday and Saturday night. Food is advertised as being available all day, but I didn’t see any menus during my recent early evening midweek visit. The service was polite, but the interior of this pub is bland and doesn’t match up to the traditional exterior.

Paul McScotty left this review about Blane Valley

Situated on the cusp of the main Merchant City pub/bar/club area the Blane Valley is one of the better traditional type pubs in Glasgow - an ornate exterior is complimented by a bright welcoming interior (cream and light orange decor) it has plenty of tables and places to put your drink when chatting. The bar itself is on the right as you enter and whilst not the largest bar area it seems well stocked, nothing out of the ordinary re beer (the usual taps) and some nice whiskeys etc ) prices for the area all seem reasonable (pint Tennenet's - very nice- £3,20 at Sept 2014). The bar is very popular for food and does some traditional food that looked really nice and good value (sirlon steak, Haddock etc). Staff were nice and the punters seem a fairly mixed and decent crowd. Has a couple of flat screen tvs and papers to read during the day. I am told it also has an excellent karaoke night every Friday and Saturday. Well worth a visit for a night out or (like me) a quick pint.

Colin Walker left this review about The New Blane Valley Bar

A very traditional exterior with a more modern interior. The pub is called Blane Valley. Very easy to find with its multi baskets of flowers adorning the exterior.
