Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Blue Lamp

What a time warp, with a dark narrow bar but beside this a totally unspoilt 1960s lounge (not to be confused with the separate Lounge Bar - see below) that is a real treasure and well worth the walk out from the city centre just to have a look. The much larger Lounge Bar is effectively a music venue but the two are linked by the corridor where the toilets can also be found. Back to the counter, where no real ale is apparent, but the keg-like tap with a pump clip attached is (I think) one of the Edinburgh air-pressure type, and this was dispensing Cromarty Happy Chappy (£3.50, and in good form).
