Beautiful setting & a very pleasant pub/hotel. Small beer garden & car park. The food was good but unimaginative - almost the same menu in every pub for 15 miles radius. 3 real ales: Doom Bar, Betty Stogs & some national crap. It would be better if a strong brew was available such as HSD or Sharps Special for example. 6 of us were in the village for a week & visited this house every night until mid-week when we discovered that a number of our party were charged different prices for the same drink. Another member of the party was short changed. lthough not for one moment suggesting this is a regular occurrence it left a sour taste within the group. Although the only pub in the village we boycotted the place from the Wednesday.

A beautiful situation an a headland at Coverack. Has had considerable renovation in the last few years but still retains its character. Good food and good beer.
