I often have to take the women to York Shopping, and we usually end up having lunch here. It's a very old traditional inn with lots of history on show. The food is good and reasonably priced. I'm usually driving so I dont get to drink, but judging by the womens repeat beer orders it must be good. I had Steak and Ale Pie and chips today and the women had Chinese Duck Wrap and a couple of pints on Edwin Taylors Double Extra Stout.
