Thuck Phat left this review about Victoria Family & Commercial Hotel
A well described and ornate Victorian interior makes this well worth a visit for a pint or two.
Nicholson's were offering a decent range of ale on our visit: Inveralmond MBU, London Pride, Thwaites Sunshine & Lollipops, Green Dragon Hopdaemon and St Peters Mild. Not the best selection in Leeds but not at all bad and everything we had was in good condition.
I'd pop back for the interior and a decent pint.

Bucking Fastard left this review about Victoria Family & Commercial Hotel
A very impressive interior as others have noted,I liked the large fireplaces with ornate wood surrounds, the detailed bar back, various screens and unspoiled tiling in the gents. The seperate side rooms help the building retain it's Victorian past and this interior should be viewed on any tour around town.A Nicholsons house with a decent selection of real ale without anything to rave about but a safe bet all the same.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Victoria Family & Commercial Hotel
Looks a solid, sensible sort of place from the street, but you would be unlikely to guess how ornate the Victorian interior is. Booths, screens, columns, moulded ceilings, etched glass - it's got the lot in the richly-decorated main (Victoria) bar. Also has two separate dining rooms - Albert's and Bridget's. Good selection of national and local real ales from the nine handpumps, and my pint of Leeds Monsson IPA (£3.10) was on good form. Overall, well worth seeking out on any visit to the city.
