Three of us went there for a meal this evening It was cheap which can be good, but not when the food is as poor as this. One meal was described as with a 'dressed salad', the salad came dry and so we asked for salad dressing. The waitress bought salad cream so we said we wanted salad dressing (oil and vinegar) so she bought about 2 teaspoons of balsamic vinegar. Oh, well the kitchen obviously don't know what salad dressing is. All three meals came with 'chips'. Oh dear soggy and floppy and not good!. Only one of us could face dessert which came 'decorated with a slice of hard star fruit and a couple of slices of green and red strawberry (i.e. unripe). We won't be returning and think paying a few pounds more is definitely worth it. Sorry The Horseshoe...staff are nice and the place is clean and warm.
