Old Boots left this review about The Princess

Relentlessly modernised inside although it’s a traditional stone building surrounded by other traditional stone buildings in an outwardly Victorian village. Mad floral wallpaper although the tongue & groove remains albeit in grey, parquet and laminate floors and a strange mix of modernish and traditional furniture - did someone at Punch pick random stuff out their warehouse? A choice of Landlord or Ossett Blonde on the two pumps, there’s a few solos and T-bars too boring to describe. The gents are unspoiled from a 1930s makeover. So a fairly typical PubCo pub with not bad beer.
