A well run Spoons, in spite of a higgily piggily external appearance it’s just one long straight room inside with high seating to the right near the counter and lower dining type tables and chairs to the left. It has a longish counter mid way on the right hand back wall with the usual five plus five pulls interspersed with T-Bars along the length. The casks are duplicated on the two sets, a bitter from Salamander and more unusually a bitter from Wilde Child, Leeds Midnight Bell was also on, you can guess the other two and the kegs. Beer quality was pretty average, usual screens and machines, decor of the old photos variety. It was a moderately busy lunchtime when I called in and the service was pretty good all round and tables weren’t left dirty for long. It goes a fair way to promoting itself as a community pub especially in the family friendly area. Inevitably the toilets are upstairs past a nicely panelled area at the far right (not a comment on Sir Tim).

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Old Unicorn (JD Wetherspoon)

The original building is quite old, but this pub was extended and remodelled inside by 'spoons in 2014. It doesn't really hold much character these days, with the most notable feature being the metal sculpture at the bottom of the ramp up from the main road. Also has a part-covered patio garden at the front, but despite its elevated position the views are mostly of Bramley's dull shopping centre. Total of six different real ales - including Bridgehouse Best Bitter (£2.15), Beyond the Pale from Elland and Naylor's Shamrock - and a couple of ciders from the two banks of six handpumps.

As noted below this is an original pub that has had an extension bolted on to one side of it. The conversion has made it into one long room with the bar in the middle but split into areas. There is a car park and grounds with real grass plus a garden shelter.
I arrived here at around 09:30 and was a bit peeved to find that they didn't serve alcohol until 10:00. I ordered a large breakfast which meant it was beer o' clock by the time I'd got through it.
An Elland meet the brewer event and a trip to the brewery were advertised so the bar had six Elland beers on. Two of the twelve hand pumps were unused and the rest had the two GK beers, Osset Big Red and Moorhouse Witchfinder General. I tried two of the Elland beers Beyond The Pale (£2.19) and the 1872 Porter (£2.35) both of which were in excellent condition.
This is a good Spoons and one I could easily return to. My only problem with it is that it's a fair trek from Bramley Railway Station and as it was before 09:30 I had to pay for the bus!
