Old Boots left this review about The Emmott Arms

Classic Sam’s pub with a public and a lounge bar, the public is in various shades of brown with a real flag floor, a cast iron range and a dart board, a mix of old photos as decor. Eccentric and friendly bantering punters, hard case landlord, Humphrey’s no swearing and no phones rules were observed more in the breach. Only Taddy Lager, Four Pure and hand pulled OBB available in the public. The lounge is a little more select, has a wider beer selection and is more expensively decorated. Out on a limb geographically but it’s a proper pub and you should go there.
