Alan Winfield left this review about Bridge

The Bridge or just Bridge as it is now called is a gay friendly pub with a rainbow flag flying outside.
Once inside there is a smallish single oblong shaped room which was dimly lit but there were lots of flashing light from the disco which was being run by a transvestite.
The bar is on the left side, the seating tall tables and chairs and some puff stools, the room is bare boarded.
There is a slight raised area to the right which unusually runs to the bar,so if you are propping the bar up like i was be careful if you move along it to the right,i did and almost went my length.
There are no real ales on the bar,the keg option was John Smiths Extra Smooth crap which was crap and expensive.
On looking round the room it was mostly full with 40 to 50 year old couples who were out for a good laugh, I quite liked listening to the cheesy music probably because i had already had 10 pints so when Kyle came on singing the locomotion everybody was having a good sing along to it.
This pub is not too overly gay and most customers were not.
Not a pub for Camra types but if want a good lively night out this pub wont dissapoint.

A gay venue I can only review from walking past. Plays cheesy music most evenings and populated with a very discerning customer. No ale on from what I could tell.
