Old Boots left this review about The Albert

Pretty much as Alan Winfield describes it, a large sports bar with lots of screens, more screens than the six mainstream beers on sale from brewers like Marstons, Leeds, Robinsons. It has bench seating all round and light wood furniture. There is a large games room at one end, looking like it was originally a separate bar. The beer has gone up though it's now £1.30 a half.

Alan Winfield left this review about The Albert Inn

The Albert is a stern looking stone built pub that is just across the roundabout from the Clothiers Arms.
Once inside the main bar room is oblong shaped with the bar facing on entry, there are tall tables and chairs to the right, the left side is more like a lounge with comfy bench seating and and chairs.
There were loads of TVs dotted around the pub all showing the Middlesborough v derby game.
There was a decent choice of real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Copper Dragon Golden Pippin which was decent enough, but not as good as the last one in the Crown, the other beers were Kelham Easy Rider,Moorhouse Pride of Pendle,John Smiths Cask and Tetley bitter.
All beers were quiet cheap,my half was only £1.25.
There is a separate games room to the right which has a pool table and darts board in it,this room was empty on my dinnertime visit.
This pub has been done up in a modern style but it is not too over the top.
There was a good mix of customers in on my Saturday dinner visit.
