A larger two bar Sam Smith's pub, stone built but fairly modern inside in a restrainted Sam Smiths way. The usual high quality furnishings with upholstered banquette seating along with separate chairs and cast iron based tables. The walls are a traditional red with a few pictures in the right hand lounge, the left hand room appears to be more of a public bar, the ceiling is in light woods and has a bit of a 1930s feel about it. It appears to have a good local following from the less affluent citizens of Boston Spa, which is a more or less affluent dormitory for Leeds and York. The toilets are labelled Colts and Fillies which is about as daring as Sam's tenants get.

The Fox & Hounds is a decent looking stone built pub that well away from the shops in the middle of Boston Spa.
Once inside there is a large square shaped lounge to the right which is carpeted, the bar is on the left side, the seating is comfy bench seating and small stools around the edge of the room and normal tables and chairs in the middle area.
There is a separate bar room to the left which is oblong and a lot smaller than the lounge, there is bench seating and small stools in this room.
The pub is a Samuel Smiths tied house, there was one real ale on which was Old Brewery Bitter which was a very nice drink and cheap.
I thought this was a decent enough pub and worth the walk from the middle of Boston Spa to do it.
