Alan Winfield left this review about The Waiters Arms

The Waiters Arms is a decent looking pub that is on a steepish hill up from the town centre.
Once inside there is a pool room to the front left, the main bar room is to the right, this room is oblong shaped and is split into two halfs by a wall, the seating s very comfy bench type and small wood stools, the room is carpeted and seemed very comfortable.
There was one real ale on the bar which was Bradfield Farmers Blonde, this was a decent drink.
There was background music playing.
This is a very pleasant pub,one i could well settle in if local.

Old Boots left this review about The Waiters Arms

A long low pub obviously older than some of the interior would suggest. Two rooms now but obviously there were more before, to the left is used as a pool room, there is a central servery area with two seating areas to the right one with a great stone fireplace. It all looks original 1930s makeover with a few modern additions. The far end counter has two handpulls, one blank and one with a poor Bradfield beer, the usual stuff on a couple of T-Bars. Modern carpet in places with original quarry tiles round the counter and traditional upholstered banquettes mixed with tongue and groove make look the part. There's a beer garden to the rear and the usual screens and machines are available. Calderdale is particularly steep so it's good exercise to walk up to this pub from the town below.
