A Good Beer Guide pub with John Smiths and Tetley available along with 2 guest ales on hand pull.
Unusual lay out inside with lots of historical prints many connected to local pits.
On my visit friendly staff and good quality beer along with Sky Sports (in one area only) and other seating areas all with gas fires.
No car parking only down side at this pleasent pub.
