Went to Lillibets for the first time tonight for evening meal, went to bar to order drinks and there was only a member of the kitchen staff there who turned around and went into kitchen, after 5 mins of waiting he reappeared and I asked for the drinls, he said he couldnt serve us and did not know where the 2 bar staff were but he eventually found them and they came running. Anyway got the drinks and ordered the 2 steak pie meals, the chips were cold along with the sloppy mushy peas (left overs I think from bonfire night)and the pie had been stuck in microwave and the pastry was still cooking as it became dry and hard. We did not complain as we realised they would not care, just left most of the meal and went, will not be eating there again and will not recommend it Pat Williams

Been to lillibets on many occasions before and was happy with the food and service however on my latest vist i ordered a meal with chips as did the other 5 people in our party the food arrived and looked as if it had been thrown on the plate and the chips looked like they were the scraps from the bottom of a bag of value frozen i pointed this out to the chap behind the bar who was happy to replace them for more of the same when i pointed out this was still unacceptable it them appeared that his attitude went along the lines of well u paid in advance so if you dont like it tough.so next weeks sunday lunch i think ill take the family to try somewhere else.
