Alan Winfield left this review about The Smiling Mule

The Smiling Mule is a decent looking stone built pub.
A sign sign in the window says "new owners new ideas"so the new idea is not to open on a Saturday dinnertime,i tried to do the pub at about 1pm,it was closed.
