A visit at around 9.30pm on Friday night after a meal locally. 3 of us visited, food had stopped being served and the pub was quiet which was different to my previous visit back in September on a Saturday lunch time that was very much during food time!

A few ales on the pumps, I opted for a pint of Old Speckled Hen which was decent and well kept.

I meant to visit again during the weekend but didn’t a chance, I like this place but haven’t really spent much time here.

Pleasant enough and the ales are well kept.

The Lamb was by far the busiest pub that I visited during a crawl of the immediate area on a recent Saturday afternoon. This is a cosy pub with a nice inglenook and lots of different seating areas separated by exposed brick columns and low wooden beams. Tables were at a premium as diners waited at the bar for eating spaces top become free. Most of the mains were priced around the £10 mark. From the bar a standard keg range was available alongside Peroni. I also counted five hand pumps that were drawing Sharp’s Doom Bar, Greene King’s Abbot Ale, Fuller’s London Pride, Castle Rock’s Harvest Pale and Black Sheep.
There was some low background music playing and I didn’t spot any televisions. Outside the front of the pub is a lawn area covered with picnic tables, a sheltered smoking area and a car park. Out the back is a picnic table lined grass covered beer garden that is out of bounds to pets and children; however they are allowed in the pub and the front lawn seating area.
I found the service to be very friendly and although busy I did manage to find a spot to relax in with my pint. The inhabitants of this area are spoilt with their choice of pubs.

The Lamb is another establishment in Pagham primarily functioning as a restaurant, but still has enough about it to be a pleasant place for just a drink.
A characterful 17th century inn, with timber beams throughout and some impressive big open fireplaces, there is a cosy low ceiling bar area, and then a separate restaurant section. We didn’t eat here, so better off looking at Trip advisor for that, but there were plenty of menu options which were not particularly cheap, but not gastro level expensive either.
There are four real ale pumps on the bar and Fuller's London Pride and Greene King Abbot looked to be permanent beers with Waggledance and Hop Back Summer Lightning available for our visit, and the couple we tried were well kept.
There is some limited seating to the front of the pub by the expansive car parks but then there are large gardens outback. And a nice touch was that there is a separate gated area for kids and pets and the rest of the garden is adults only.
