A detached corner pub in white render, with peach paintwork and having a small beer patio at the back.

There are two rooms. The bar, white, clay and beigey in decor, ends with a pool table area and has Sky TV. The music was pretty loud so we moved into the nice little lounge (also has TV, but not on). This room was yellow in decor, with white ceiling, the bar itself and the fire place were tiled - the windows were also etched. Service was fine and the mixed clientele small.

Beer, just tap tosh with a reasonable Banks's MILD - the only handpull, with Pedigree on, wasnt actually working.

Seems like a pub of two halves. The bar is lively, the lounge quiet - yes, i prefer the lounge being miserable. The beer is bog standard. I wouldn't go out my way, but the Butts Tavern is worth a visit, so i pop in here as well, as its a second up the road
