Average Rating:
Very basic and stands next to Sutton train station. Haven't been here for years.

It was difficult to find much fault with this pub. It's not exceptional but everything they do they do well. There are comfortable seating areas and a fair bit of standing room. Friendly and efficient service. Good homemade food, if a little pricey. Nice décor and what may or may not be a working model railway around the ceiling of the back bar. Outside is what looks like an old station platform passenger shelter, now serving as a gazebo. Three real ale pumps and the beer was in good condition. It was lively and buzzing on the Friday night we visited. A good pub, located right by the train station, as the name suggests, and I suspect it's considered one of the best in Sutton Coldfield.

Reasonable beer prices but there is no way I'd pay £7.50 for "homemade" beefburger and chips!
