Nasty snot green exterior. Decent interior if a bit gloomy and not many people were in. My Birmingham BC Blonde Brummie was in decent nick (NBSS 3.5). Owned by the same people as the upmarket Red Lion down the road. GBG’23 listed. 6.5

My first visit since the takeover and quite a transformation! Different to the rather dingy basic boozer it was before. A good choice of ales with Tiny rebel Cwcth, Thornbridge Melba, Salopian Sweven and Salopian Oracle. The two we tried were excellent. Also a real cider on - Flattler. Well worth a visit.

Now owned by the same company as the Red Lion, further down Brettell Lane.
Now an open plan U shaped pub, which has been refurbished to a good standard. The outside area looks nice, too.
Quite a few beers on handpull, but the Glow was £3.60 and mediocre.
Early days for them, but even if the quality improves it's a bit expensive.
