Unsure whether to mark this as closed or not!

Its no longer a pub but a comedy venue (and possibly still music). The main body of the pub is being converted to a hourse - so front door is all closed off.

We had tickets for a 4pm Hal Cruttenden show - arriving at 3:30pm, we struggled to find the way in. Down the side street and into the beer garden is the answer.

An exterior room is setup with a stage and seating. They is a small bar. No cask but some interesting bottles, including Erdinger Weissbier and more traditional brews like HPA, Butty Bach.

Should it still be listed on a pubs site? Maybe not - its now a theatre.

This is a stand alone Irish pub with various bits of regalia adorning the outside of the pub. It is however a genuine pub rather than one of those faux oirish establishments. It's a no frills down to earth boozer, two rooms split by a central bar located towards the front, the right hand room extends back a bit further through an arch into a partially separated area. Floors are boarded and the ceiling is low and has beams.
Live music is high on the agenda here with lots of gigs listed on flyers, guitars, mandolins and accordions hang on the walls. Lots of Guinness ads as may be expected, there are a few shelves of books and plates sit on a high picture rail.
We possibly were a bit unlucky with the beer selection here having by now been thoroughly spoilt by the selection on offer locally, three on, Thwaites Wainwright, something called The Fitzgerald's Stourbridge Lion, probably a rebadge, plus Enville Ginger Ale which tasted, erm, of ginger. I saw no indications of food at around 5.00 on a Saturday.
It was a rather cold and damp day yet the fires remained unlit and the room was gloomy so not exactly full of cheer. There are better pubs around town and in the immediate vicinity.

A detached cottage-styled Irish themed pub and music venue with beer patio. The pub is early Victorian, in white painted brick, with green paintwork. It has a central entrance flanked by bay windows.

The interior has four rooms. Two of these, the 'cellar bar' and the 'upstairs bar' are for live music, which is hosted regularly. The drinking area comprises of two rooms; a bar and a lounge (with small extension) served by a central island bar. The decor is red and green walls with wood floor (green carpet in the small extension) and a white and beam ceiling. There are exposed brick chimney breasts in both rooms, with a Victorian grate in the one. There are family pictures, old photos and instruments like banjos and guitars on the walls. The service was fine and we were early birds, so there were no others in. The music was general and at a decent level and i didnt see a TV.

Beer; usual tap stuff with Erdinger. Apparently it serves good Guinness. On handpull there were Three Tuns Solstice and Clerics Cure, along with Dr Morton's Corpse Nailer. The Three Tuns were both decent

I was more than happy to visit. Indeed, I would like to come and see a band here as few venues boast such an array of real ales.
