Fairly recently refurbished - unsuccessfully in my view. A 1930's oversized 'Gin Palace'. You'll find more atmosphere & better beer in the cemetary up the road. Need I say more. Oh yeh, it has a large car park but is located on an extremely busy road junction. Beware of the teenage kids leaving the local school - they're decent kids but there are thousands of them & I wouldn't want any of them hurt.
