Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Crown

Fairly basic two-bar pub (also advertised as an Indian restaurant, although I saw no menus or anyone eating), with the larger one also having a pool room at the back. Part refurbished / part tatty. With three handpumps on each counter, and several having reversed clips, real ales may be available here sometimes, but not on my visit unfortunately. Still, the Worthington's was only £2.10, so made do with that before moving on...

Soup Dragon left this review about The Crown

A light rendered detached elongated cottage-styled pub with black paint work and a patio area.

The interior had a couple of rooms, a small bar that i didnt really see to the left on entry and the main lounge, where we went, to the right. This room is an L-shaped room around the serving bar, with a pool table and a TV, which was showing the football. The decor seemed to be light grayish walls with a white and brown wood beam ceing and wood floor. The service was functional, there was no music and just a few locals in. A few old photos were on the walls.

Beer; all tap, no real ale. There was an M&B MILD that was so disgusting i took the drinks back, left them on the bar and in the absence of anything to substitute them for, i simply left. To be fair to the guy behind the bar, i didn't give him chance to offer to change them, but it takes skill to keep keg beer that badly.

Nothing for the real ale fan here. Definately one for the locals.
