A very basic flat roof local boozer. The interior is a bit battered and doesn’t hold much to keep your attention, though the neglected herringbone flooring was nice. No ale so Worthington Creamflow had to do me. After initially getting stared at for clearly not being of the local ilk, the small smattering of punters inside turned out to be friendly enough and I even managed to tame the pub Staffie enough to tickle behind its ears. Ultimately, this really isn’t a pub you’re likely to ever do unless you’re extremely local as there’s literally no reason to go in otherwise. But I’ve been in much worse, so I hope it survives.
