Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Moseley Arms

Much more modern within the remodelled interior than one might expect, with light decor and tidy furniture. Largely opened-out but leaving three distinct spaces, with the dining area located up a single step. Also offers hotel accommodation. Unfortunately, neither of the handpumps (with reversed Doom Bar clips) was operational, so went for the keg Worthington (£3.10) which is definitely more popular in this part of the city than the dreaded John Smiths.

Modernised opened up corner local with overnight rooms. One square room with central fire place. A quarter is given over to a pool table, around the rest is lounge seating including padded benches around the walls. Modern pine bar, white walls. A bit different for the area.

No real ale, Worthington Creamflow.

Soup Dragon left this review about The Moseley Arms

A now detached corner pub, part in undressed brick and part white render with black paintwork.

The interior is an open plan modern room, but it seem partitioned down the middle to form a table and comfy chair area and a sofa area, which as the review below states, is in a cinema style with a few rows of sofas (and pouffes) facing a large screen TV, which had the cricket on - the sofas were empty! The decor is in white and blue/silver patterned wallpaper. There were blinds on the windows and a couple of pictures to break up the bare walls. The service was functional at first, but we got a friendly goodbye on departure and there was one other person in when i visited.

Beer; no real ale, all keg stuff, with Brew XI, which was OK.

An attempt at something different as Digbeth is full of th more traditional kind of place. While the interior of this pub isnt to my taste, it does offer something different
