I joined a company called Chemical Services & Distribution (now United Phosphorus) in 1984 and came here for lunch after my interview. A short time after, 1986 I think, two of our directors ran the pub. I really liked the pub but, having been made redundant in 1992, I have no reason to visit regularly.
