Apparently a hotel bar though to be honest it just looks like a trendyish bar inside. I seem to have entered from the rear of the pub so had to walk through a narrow lounge like area that was resplendent with leather armchairs. The servery was at the front(?) and this consisted of a small bar and seating area. Two handpumps on the bar but only one on dispensing a Twisted Brewing Co. beer called WTF. I've been in much worse hotel bars than this so it just about passes muster. It also seems to be just called The Horseshoes.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Horseshoes (The Rugby Hotel)

The bar for the Rugby Hotel, also having its own entrance at the back off Drury Lane. Features a more pub-like furniture near the bar but the larger room (down one step) feels more like a hotel lounge. Fairly sparse, semi-modern decor throughout. Two real ales on handpump: Doom Bar and Ringwood Forty Niner (£3.00).

The Rugby Hotel is a large white painted hotel, the public bar to this hotel is called The Horseshoe,it is on the right side of the building,go through the main entrance the bar is through the first door on the right.
Once in this room the bar faces, there were four normal tables and chairs in the bar area, plus a few leather settees to the left, the room is bare boarded, there was a seperate lounge area down a step to the rear left, this room was carpeted and had leather settees.
There was one real ale on the bar, this was Doom Bar which was a decent enough drink but slightly too warm, there was some decent background music playing which helped to create a bit of an atmosphere,a good job because i was the only customer in on my Saturday dinner visit,i asked the young barmaid if gets any busier later, she said "not really".
This is quite a pleasant and comfortable bar, shame about the lack of custom.
