Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Windmill Inn
One of two Black Country Ales pubs in town, with this one being right in the centre. Comprises two adjoining buildings that look very different from the street, but both parts have the expected, and unified, traditional look inside. With three banks of five handpumps, I found nine different beers - including the 19th Nervous Breakdown from Kinver (£4.00) - plus three ciders being poured.

Bucking Fastard left this review about The Windmill Inn
Now reverted to it's original name and owned by Black Country Ales.Clearly two buildings at one time, the interior has changed significantly from the days as the Rugby Tavern with the bar to the far left, surrounded by a few tables and chairs while in the vaulted ceiling portion ,a large seating area has been created with some banquettes and a fireplace. However the overall affect is quite plain and uninteresting despite feeling traditional.
There is a screen listing the real ale options, but many choices were double or even triple counted ,meaning on my Wednesday evening trip there were 3 Black Country regulars (Bradley Gold,Fireside,Pig on the Wall) and 4 guests in the shape of Izaak Walton Rainbow Trout,Tyne Bank Northern Porter,Beowulf Heroes and Frothblowers Hornswoggle IPA.(NBSS 2.5,not great).
There is strong real ale competition in town ,and the choice here on my trip wouldn't divert afficianadoes from either the Seven Star or Merchants .It was a one pint stop ,to see what was on rather than a destination pub.
