Another well-run Kenilworth estate pub, this one sadly without a flat roof, but you can't win 'em all. I guess it's one of many that Banks's built all over the Midlands, too many now sadly disappearing. A traditional two room layout inside and a friendly atmosphere. It remains popular with the community, helped by a parade of shops with which it shares a car park. Food is exceptionally good value, with many of the more mature residents partaking on a midweek lunchtime.
Beer is necessarily Marston's related, Ringwood Boondoggle was spot on. It's never going to be a destination pub, but does what it sets out to do perfectly well.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Tiltyard
Large, modern estate pub somewhat hidden away near a small collection of suburban shops. Two separate bars - a busy, noisy public bar with a pool table and a number of machines, and a split-level lounge divided by a pair of steps with lots of seating. The latter room is clearly targeted at those dining and older customers just looking for somewhere a bit quieter, and it also has a piano so perhaps music is offered there as well? Beer-wise, there is a bank of four handpumps in each bar offering Banks's Bitter, Boondoggle, Hobgoblin and the seasonal Dirty Tackle (£2.90 and in good form). Overall, I thought it had a good community atmosphere and is one of the best examples of this increasingly rare type of outlet.
