Nice friendly pub, been very quiet each time my wife and I have called(mainly weekday afternoons), staff very friendly and the place nice clen and tidy, worth a pop in for a pint and a break after a hard slog round Asda(just across the road).

What a delightful pub this is. This is how a pub should be. Very clean and tidy. The staff are very helpful and polite and it must be the best pint of Carling in the North of England. There are two big screens for sport and several tv's dotted around the place. I understand the place is to refurbished as it is under new management. Total refurb from top to bottom and kitted out with the latest LCD HD televisions. All in all a very nice and friendly bar.
